I have experience in nannying for a family of two kids, aged 6 (boy) and 9 (girl) and have a general love for children and helping them with school, music or even just taking them to the park. I have my certificate of performance in Viola and Violin and can help with basic music practice for most instruments as I can play piano, violin, viola, saxophone and the drums. I have worked as a nanny for three years now and love my job. I pride myself on my energy and vibrance towards kids and love to take a fun and enjoyable approach to looking after children. I also take interest in all sports, I swam at a national level during school and have continued my love for being active outside of school, involving myself in running, pilates and strength work. I also have done lots of school drop offs and pick ups and am very practiced with household activities such as laundry, cleaning rooms and making meals. I love all animals and would be happy to be in households that have pets as well. My rate of pay is what I earn in my current role, however open to negotiation based on role requirements and situation. I am fully vaccinated, have my drivers license, and have a working with children’s check and police check that I could provide you with. I am based in north melbourne.

Hi there! I'm Karla, I've been nannying and babysitting for over a decade. I hold an arts degree and a Masters of Theatre. I currently work around one day a month for a beautiful family with a nine and ten year old and have been with them for the past decade! I also work full time in arts administration. I love getting to know a family, and developing meaningful connections with both children and parents. I find nannying to be incredibly rewarding. I have experience tutoring both primary and secondary aged students in English and Literature. I believe a nanny should be active, engaging and in tune with the children in their care. I make an effort to regularly plan outings and activities. I often incorporate art and theatre as they are my passions. I am also more than happy to do some light cooking and cleaning. I have current references and a working with children's check.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Maxwell, and I'm currently studying abroad at the University of Melbourne. I've been nannying and tutoring in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 7 years, caring for children from toddlers to teens. Beyond 1:1 care, I've worked in the nonprofit education sector, where I supported students with listed needs and accommodations and built out diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives organization-wide. These experiences taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of creating safe, encouraging environments. Families can rely on me to be responsible, compassionate, and engaging, while also bringing structure and fun to each day. I love helping kids grow with confidence and joy.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! I currently look after a few families however my calendar has opened for a new family in 2025. I commit to long hour and long term commitment for the year with all of my families. It's important. Currently I cover ages 8 months, 12 months, 2.5 years, 4.5 years and 9 & 11 years olds. I understand the variety of changing developments in children and adapt to these needs. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my entire life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old and up until now as a professional nanny for parents who are doctors, solicitors, engineers, school teachers, marketing specialist and even a CEO. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with human development, of which I have covered extensively. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress and anxiety is about the energy from the nanny/babysitter. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age carer can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I follow routines and set boundaries, (initiated from the parents) for all children because it creates security and trust with them. I participate in both home and outdoor activities and excursions. I can drive my own car (petrol charges incur) or use any parents' cars. I cover household cleaning (light house work: all things kids mess, upkeep where possible in the laundry area, keep kitchen clean) to take the burden away from parents so they can come home to a cleaner environment than perhaps they left it. This is always discussed in detail for any family because I am not a 'house cleaner' I am a Nanny. I am extremely reliable and punctual to enable all parents to relax knowing I will always be there for them. I look forward to hearing from you. Nanny Clare
